Summer • Some Courses Open to all Majors • Four Weeks
Through this program, you will take part in either an intensive Spanish language program and/or a history program in Rosario, Argentina. In your leisure time, you will experience Argentinean culture through day trips, afternoon activities and cultural events. Also, you will have opportunities to participate in optional excursions to Iguazu Fall, Patagonia, Buenos Aires etc. Basic knowledge of Spanish is not required.
Credit Hours and Courses
6-8 Credit Hours. If you plan to take a Spanish course, you must sign up for Spanish 3040C. Beginners, intermediate and advanced Spanish courses are offered in this program, as well as Spanish/Latin American Literature courses, which are open to all majors.
Lodging and Meals
Students will reside with a host family during their stay in Rosario. Breakfast and dinner are included in the overall program cost.
Your current scholarships and financial aid may apply toward the cost of the program. If you plan on using financial aid you need to call the Office of Student Financial Aid at (931) 221-7907 to schedule an appointment with a study abroad counselor.
