Program Description:

Study-Abroad Program • Summer • Four Weeks


Dates:  May 9, 2017 to June 9, 2017

Program Overview
Through this program, you will take part in either an intensive Spanish language program and/or a history program in Rosario, Argentina. In your leisure time, you will experience Argentinean culture through day trips, afternoon activities and cultural events. Also, you will have opportunities to participate in optional excursions to Iguazu Fall, Patagonia, Buenos Aires etc.  Basic knowledge of Spanish is not required.

Credit Hours and Courses
6-8 Credit Hours. If you plan to take a Spanish course, you must sign up for Spanish 3040C.  Beginners, intermediate and advanced Spanish courses are offered in this program, as well as Spanish/Latin American Literature courses.

Lodging and Meals
You will reside with a host family during your stay in Rosario. Breakfast and dinner are included in the overall program cost.

Financial Aid
Your current scholarships and financial aid may apply toward the cost of the program. If you plan on using financial aid you need to call the Office of Student Financial Aid at (931) 221-7907 to schedule an appointment with a study abroad counselor -Cathy Naef or Jennifer Ellis. Program Cost

Application fee: $430
This nonrefundable application fee will be charged to the student's account once the student authorizes the Office of International Education during the application process.

1st Payment $1,862.50 March 1
2nd Payment (final payment) $1,862.50 March 30
1st and 2nd Payment need to be paid at APSU Cashier's Window
to the Argentina account.

Tuition: $1,554 
This tuition is based on 6 credit hours. Tuition is due prior to departure and will be billed to the student's account after registration.
